Ever tried closing your eyes and going about your day? It's tough, right?

Now imagine living like that every day. At PRAANI, we believe that no child should have to face the world without clear vision just because of lack of awareness or access to eye care.

Our journey began in 1994 with a simple goal—to protect and restore eyesight among school-going children, especially those who can't afford basic eye check-ups or spectacles. What started as a small initiative in the districts of Kanpur, Unnao, and Fatehpur (UP), has today grown into a movement that has reached over 10 lakh children across India.

With the support of dedicated eye experts and the collaboration of schools, our team visits institutions throughout the year. Every child receives a free eye check-up, and those who need it are given spectacles and medicines—completely free of cost.
